Opportunity for A Place of Healing--Duke Endowment Scholarships

The Duke Endowment recently awarded The Professional Renewal Initiative 19 scholarships for North Carolina United Methodist pastors to attend the Clergy Program at Davidson Clergy Center. These scholarships are especially targeted for clergy who are affected by the current stressors facing the United Methodist Church.

Pastors will receive full tuition of $2,950 as well as a $300 stipend for travel and accommodations. For more information, please contact The Clergy Center. The scholarships are open to all North Carolina (UMC) pastors with application to Professional Renewal Initiative. These vital scholarships are awarded to pastors experiencing emotional or personal stress through the current uncertainties of their denomination or church families.

Davidson Clergy Center offers an ecumenical program in Davidson, NC, focusing on building self-care along with personal and professional resilience. Physical training, spiritual direction, small group and individual consultation/counseling, and life coaching, are part of the program. Full confidentiality is honored.
