New Mount Tabor Serves as Collection Spot

posted on January 10

Recently, New Mount Tabor UMC served as a collection spot for Operation Christmas Child. At final count, 7,102 shoeboxes were collected from the congregation and other local churches. Lay Leader Darrell Mullis leads this annual ministry with numerous volunteers from the congregation.

New Mount Tabor has a wonderful new edition that includes a gym, kitchen, bathrooms, and a choir room. When this new edition was being planned and built, the congregation's vision was that the space would not just be a "new edition". Church leaders want to use this space as a mission, a space to serve the local community and beyond.
